In the UAE
- Dubai - the modern, dynamic city and tourist centre on the Gulf Coast, north-east of Abu Dhabi.
- Abu Dhabi - the capital - a pleasant modern city on the Gulf Coast
- Al Rahba - a small but rapidly growing town on the coast not far to the north of Abu Dhabi.
- Al Ain -the garden and university city located inland
near the mountains and the Omani border
In Qatar
- Doha - the modern capital of Qatar which has the highest per capita income in the world.
In Oman
- Muscat - the pleasant and relaxed capital of Oman on the shores of the Indian Ocean.
In Saudi Arabia
- Riyadh - the rapidly growing capital and largest city in the Central desert province of Najd.
- Jeddah - a modern commercial city on the Red Sea with roots to its ancient trading history.
- Dammam - a smaller city on the Gulf coast near Bahrain in the Eastern province.
- Al Hasa - a smaller city in the largest oasis in the world, 2 hrs South-West of Dammam.
- Khamis Mushayt - a small city with temperate climate
in the beautiful mountain region of Asir.
In Kuwait
- Kuwait City - a vibrant modern city of skyscrapers
mixed with traditional Arab hospitality on the sun drenched coast and
beaches of the Gulf.
Development of the healthcare sector
It is important to remember that the healthcare sector in the Gulf States is developing rapidly. Existing hospitals are expanding and new hospitals and clinics are starting regularly in order to meet the healthcare demands of the developing economies and rapidly growing populations. Consequently, there is a strong demand for highly competent staff members who can assist with this healthcare development effort.
